As I begin my 23rd year as an elementary teacher in a North Shore public school system, I have many years of hands on training and experience teaching all aspects of language arts, (reading, writing, phonics, math study skills, elementary science units and elementary social studies). I practice differentiated teaching methods to help children learn in their personal style. Most importantly I try to help children love learning and apply their new skills to make academic progress.

I am currently teaching and have been trained in Wilson Fundations program. I am also experienced in applying phonetic skills my balanced literacy groups with techniques that model the correct sounds and how they are effected by the consonants and vowel combinations children encounter in their reading.
