I am excited to say that I have been teaching in schools for a decade now! I began my career as a music teacher for K to 8 at St. Augustine's School in Andover, MA. I designed and implemented creative music courses for each grade. I joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps after college and was placed as an Assistant Director at the Notre Dame Montessori School in Dorchester. Over the years I have worked at this school as a teacher and a grant writer. After graduating from Lesley with my Masters in Education, I worked as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at Park Street Kids in Boston.
I have three wonderful children with my husband. After I began having children, I continued to work at Park Street as an Assistant Teacher. When the commute became a little tough with all the little ones at home in Reading, I worked for three years as a Kindergarten Teacher at Abundant Life Christian School in Wilmington. I am currently taking time off to care for my own children, and am taking two classes at Lesley to finish up my state licensure for early education. In music I have training in piano, voice and theater. The creative arts are my passion and I thoroughly enjoy using the arts to help students learn in all subjects!
As a mother of three I have been cooking with a budget for years. I love to cook and specialize in simple, easy to prepare meals that anyone can learn.
I trained with piano teachers from Andover, Massachusetts at Ithaca College. I was trained vocally with director and composer of the Treble Chorus of New England, with director in the Bishop Fenwick Concert Choir. I performed in the Massachusetts State Choir, in the Ithaca College Women's Chorale, in the Ithaca College Women's A Capella Group, in the Merrimack Valley Players and currently in the Hatherly Players. I trained in music theory and in classes at Ithaca College.

I trained in piano with teachers Annette Dollard and Linda Chen (both from Andover, MA) and at Ithaca College with Professor Reed Gainsford over the span of twenty years.

I sang with the Ithaca College Women's Choir for three years and with Premium Blend, the Women's A Capella Choir for one year. I performed with the Merrimack Valley Players for nine years in concerts and musical theater productions. I have performed with the Hatherly Players for the past three years, and look forward to continuing with this group. I am passionate about singing, and about using the voice correctly to make a joyful noise!

In the theater club at Bishop Fenwick High School for four years, I played such roles as Lady Jaqueline Carstone in Me and My Girl and Anytime Annie in 42 Street. I worked with the Merrimack Valley Players for nine years in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Favorite roles played in productions over the years include Bertha in Pippin, Philia in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Dorothy in The Wiz. I have a Master's of Education with an emphasis on using the Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University. I have completed training through theater courses taken at Ithaca College and at Lesley University.

I received vocal training from Jeffrey Patch at Bishop Fenwick High School for four years. I sang with Janet Galván's Women's Chorale for three years at Ithaca College. Additionally, I sang with the Merrimack Valley Players for nine years and with the Hatherly Players for three years.
