I enjoy working with students in Math from Kindergarten through Algebra 1, especially students who have difficulty with this subject. As an experienced tutor, I take pride in helping students understand math concepts that prevented them from advancing in their work. Students almost always benefit from individual tutoring.

My tutoring experience has included working individually with 6th and 8th grade students in Math. We studied surface areas and volumes of cylinders and prisms, areas of circles, triangles and quadrilaterals, similar polygons, adding, multiplying, dividing positive and negative integers, as well as other topics in Math.

I have taught 9th grade English, and have been an 8th grade math instructor as well as a special needs tutor. I have also been a substitute teacher in Kindergarten, 2nd, 4th and 7th grades in a private K-8 boarding school in Milton, MA. I enjoy working with students of any age. My patience and experience are key factors in my success as a tutor. I look forward to working with you.
