I am a patient teacher who has more than two years' experience in teaching Chinese.
Firstly, I studied four years for my bachelor's degree in a University in Beijing, China, so I speak standard Mandarin and possess a National Mandarin Test Certificate.
Secondly, after graduation, I went to Stockholm, Sweden to obtain a Master's Degree in Education (an English Speaking Programme). Thus I acquired both education theory & skills and English fluency.
Moreover, I worked in a 6-18 year-old children-oriented Chinese Language school in Stockholm for two years, where I gained teaching experience and great teaching methods.
Thirdly, I moved from Sweden to Switzerland and worked in an NGO (Non-government organization), which is dedicated to international education.
In summary, before I moved to United States, I had been living in Europe for more than six years and involved in many language and cultural exchange programmes. This experience provide me with proficiency in cross-cultural communication.
Now I live in Boston, and work in a Chinese language school (Boston branch, main location is in NH), and plan to pursue a PhD Degree in education for the future career.
As stated above, I believe I can be a qualified and fun Chinese teacher.
In addition, I am good at cooking and Chinese calligraphy (ShuFa) which will be an additional value in introducing Chinese cultures and organizing extracurricular activities.
