Bible Studies
Rakeem is an ordained Deacon in the church and on occasion teaches a Sunday School lesson. Also he plays a pivotal role in Bible Study. He serves as the editor of the Bible Study Teacher's lessons before they are presented to the class.
Criminal Justice
Rakeem holds his master's in criminal justice from Boston University and has studied subjects as such: Crime & Punishment, Forensic Behavioral Analysis, Terrorism, American Prisons, Victimology, Analytical Methods, White Collar Crime, Research Methods, Urban Problems and Policy Process, and Criminal Law & Procedure.
General Computer
Rakeem worked as a Student Technology Consultant at Hamilton College in the ITS department. He helped field questions on computers. He worked in the computer lab and assisted students when they had trouble operating the computers. He became an expert on iMovie as well as the Microsoft Suite.
Logic
Mr. C. received an A grade in critical reasoning, while attending Hamilton College. He has also successfully passed the FBI phase I logical assessment and situational judgment test.
Music History
While at Hamilton College, Rakeem took 3 music history courses all under Professor Michael "Doctah" Woods. The courses were as follows: History of Jazz; Topics in Jazz; and African American Popular Music. Rakeem received an "A" grade in each of the three listed courses.
Philosophy
Rakeem majored in Philosophy while attending Hamilton college for his undergraduate degree; he studied philosophy as his main course of study for four years. Rakeem has also had several successful tutoring sessions in Philosophy and he was able to draw on his undergraduate and graduate studies that related to philosophy to help students in need of further explanation and assist with philosophical writing.
Psychology
Rakeem has taken a myriad of psychology courses throughout his time as an undergraduate and graduate student. Rakeem has studied the intersection of psychology with perception, memory, adult psycopathology, criminology and forensic behavioral analysis. He is prepared to help students grasp psychological concepts and put them in writing as well as present them via public speaking.
Public Speaking
Mr. C. attended Hamilton college as an undergraduate, an institution that prides itself on a tradition emphasizing public speaking. There he completed three courses proctored by the Oral Communications Department: Argumentation and Debate; Theories and Practice in Leadership; and Intercultural Communication. As a graduate student at Boston University, Mr. C. received an A+ in Forensic Behavioral Analysis, a course that had a specific emphasis on public speaking and presentation of the subject matter.
Songwriting
Mr. C. has a catalogue of more than 250 songs he has written himself. He is a writer of soul and gospel music. He started off as a poet and worked his way into songwriting and has been writing songs since 2005.
Study Skills
Throughout his academic career from his Bachelor's degree to his Master's degree Rakeem has honed his study skills and provides proven ways for students to organize their workloads and key techniques for studying. He has employed these techniques throughout his academic career and they have garnered him perfect scores in classes at the undergrad and graduate levels.
Voice (Music)
Mr. C. owns his own music production company and he sings soul/inspirational music. He has trained under the tutelage of a Berklee College of Music gospel ensemble and professor and vocal coach.
Writing
Rakeem specializes in helping students write philosophy papers, but because of the rigor of his specialization he is prepared to help students with a broad array of writing assignments. He graduated from Hamilton College with bachelor of arts degree in philosophy and he went on to write at the graduate level at Boston University.
