Dear Parents and Students,

I'm an enthusiastic teacher with plenty of experience teaching English as a second language abroad, and Spanish right here in the United States. I've worked with students from age one through adult. Having worked with so many students of so many different language levels as well as age levels, I have really fine-tuned my skills in identifying the diverse needs of each and every student. I tailor my lessons to YOUR needs.

My approach is based on my training and experience. It focuses on communication as the foundation of language-learning. Discussion, both directed and spontaneous, are key factors in the process. Grammar is practiced and repeated rather than merely memorized and forgotten. Speaking, listening, reading and writing all come into play. I believe in the importance of working hard, yet having fun while actively exercising all of these skills.

I can't wait to meet you and start making some real progress!

Yours truly,

Caitlin

Fantastic Spanish Tutor — Caitlin has bee a fantastic tutor for my son. She did an assessment of his Spanish comprehension, and was able to determine the best areas of focus for his lessons. My son is in his third year of middle school Spanish, but we found that he was missing some fundamentals and quickly falling behind. Caitlin has helped my son catch up on the basics, as well as prepare and reinforce the new materials h ...
