For fifteen years, I have worked in various capacities with students that have disabilities at various grade levels from kindergarten to high school. My ability to help these students reach their goals and express their potential is my strongest attribute. I have a deep understanding of both the functional and biological composition of learning as a process and have developed various curricula, behavior programs, and interventions to support students with special needs. I have worked as a special education teacher, parent advocate, crisis intervention specialist, tutor and social skills coach and understand the IEP process from an educational, parental, and legal perspective.
