I am a public school teacher with over 8 years of experience. For the last 7 years I have taught science in middle school, but in the past have taught math and English. Most of my experience is in 5-8, but I have taught some high school as well. I consider myself easy going and feel confident that I can help students improve their academic skills and further their understanding of complex concepts. I'm familiar with current standards in math, English and science and have high expectations. I believe in trying to use student's strengths to help them make strides and emphasize low pressure situations since anxiety only makes it harder for students to learn.
