In my two decades of experience as a Chemistry tutor, I have had the privilege to help hundreds of students from multiple age groups and backgrounds. I have provided students the strategies for success in the following areas:

* One valuable component of my AP-Chemistry Test Preparation service is my collection of AP Chemistry Open-Response, and selected Multiple-Choice Questions from the years 1970 until 2007! While actual test questions are not re-used, students discover history can repeat itself in numerous ways with this test.
I have been a university chemistry instructor and therefore, have tutored students, both as preparation for Organic Chemistry (the interim between General Chemistry 2 and Organic 1), and the two semesters of undergraduate-level Organic Chemistry for over a decade. Standardized tests for which I have assisted in the Chemistry portion have included both the DAT and the MCAT.
In addition to content-area knowledge, and strategies for both studying and learning, among the tools I impart to students include the following:
1.) Identifying reaction conditions and predicting what product(s) is/are possible.
2.) Collecting spectroscopic data for NMR and identifying molecules consistent with the data.
3.) Performing retrosynthetic analysis of target molecules and planning strategies toward the synthesis of simple organic compounds.
