I am a native speaker and a certified teacher. I have been teaching French, Modern Standard Arabic and all Arabic dialects for 22 years. I enjoy working with all ages and levels.
I have worked as a language teacher for Rhode Island College, the French Cultural Center, Inlingua, the Center for Arabic Culture, and, several other language schools in addition to teaching government employees.
I also created and developed an after school foreign language program for several public and private schools in the Boston area.
As for media experience, I created and recorded a series of French lessons for high school students. I also appeared twice as a French guest speaker on a French show titled "Tour de France".
To make learning a foreign language and culture fun and effective, I incorporate songs, movies, role playing, recorded phone conversations, newspapers, magazines and other cultural means. I use books to teach grammar and conjugation. I also teach ways to help you learn on your own and quickly.
As for my education, I hold a bachelor's degree in Biology, a teaching certificate, and, a master's degree in dramatic art. I am constantly researching and learning about teaching foreign language methodologies.
I look forward to seeing you enjoy learning the language of your choice: Arabic or French.
