Bible Studies
A comprehensive study of the Bible involves investigating many of the themes outlined through the scriptures. It will cover highlights of each of the 66 books of the Bible. It will include a close examination of why the ransom was necessary as well as the many prophecies beginning with the first prophecy found in Genesis and down through Revelations.
I have spent over a decade in study and helped others with studying the Bible. I have covered everything from the history of the Bible to each of the writers, also highlighting the themes such as sovereignty, mankind's integrity and fulfillment of prophecy.
Differential Equations
It addresses several types of equations such as first Order Differential Equations such as Linear Equations, Separable Equations, Bernoulli Equations, Homogeneous Equations, Exact and Non-Exact Equations, Integrating Factor technique,Radioactive Decay, Population Dynamics, Existence and Uniqueness of Solutions.
And also Second Order Differential Equations which are the Nonlinear Equations, Linear Equations, Homogeneous Linear Equations, Linear Independence, the Wronskian, Reduction of Order, Homogeneous Equations with Constant Coefficients, Non-Homogeneous Linear Equations.
There are also methods in order to determine coefficients as in the case of Method of Undetermined Coefficients, Method of Variation of Parameters, Series Solutions Introduction and Basic Results. Homogeneous Linear Equations with Constant Coefficients Non-Homogeneous Linear Equations, Method of Undetermined Coefficients and Method of Variation of Parameters
I graduated from Bridgewater State College with a B.S. in Mathematics. Among my course load was Differential Equations for which I received an A for the course. I have taken my MTELs and passed the 09Mathematics. I am certified to teach high school mathematics.
Linear Algebra
Linear Algebra deals with vector spaces including eigenvectors, linear transformations, matrices and their identities, and solving systems of linear equations using row reduction, gause-jordan elimination and using the inverse matrix to solve systems of equations. Linear algebra also deals with determinants and its many useful properties.
I was a math major at Bridgewater State College and graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics. I took Linear Algebra as a required course while at Bridgewater and received an A for the course.
Logic
Logic in Mathematics involves formal languages used to construct proofs. It is understanding sets and functions as well as a full comprehension of the Number System, distinguishing the difference between these sets of numbers: Integers, Rational Numbers, Real Numbers, Irrational Numbers, Complex Numbers and Natural Numbers, and understanding which set is applicable to which problem.
I graduated from Bridgewater as a math major and among my course load was Analysis which covered Logic, Proofs, Sets and Functions, the Number System, Sequences, Continuity and the Derivative.
Study Skills
For study skills, I teach the student how to learn. At times, the student does not have the structure of studying effectively and need the guidance of how to organize the information, time management, and know how of where to focus.
I have from my experience as a classroom teacher, taught students how to study, what to study, as well as proven strategies that are effective such as the use of note cards, highlighting important information in notes, good note taking, memory tricks, and development of good study habits.
