I love helping students work with words. Whether it is reading, writing, vocabulary, social studies, or any other subject where words appear, we'll take those letters on! Maybe you are trying to strengthen your skills in your current grade or looking for enrichment--whichever one, we'll have a blast working together using methods and tricks that are full of fun and will help you gain new knowledge and understanding.
I have taught students from the elementary through secondary levels, both in the classroom and one on one. I see the student as an individual and draw on his or her personality, strengths, and learning style and view learning as a process. While conveying high expectations, I work by forming a partnership with my students and creating a strategy to help them succeed.
