I have retired after teaching high school math and physics for forty-five years; fourteen years in public schools and the last thirty-one at The Governor's Academy where I am now Physics Teacher Emeritus. For the last twenty-three years, I have taught Honors Physics and AP Physics. I currently read (i.e. score) about 9,000 AP exams every June for the Educational Testing Service with about 125 other physics teachers from around the country. This experience has given me an excellent insight into the type and structure of exams developed by ETS for AP physics and SAT tests. I also taught math, at the high school level and evenings at Northeastern University. I am a member Emeritus of the American Association of Physics teachers and a reviewer for The National Science Teachers Association journal, The Science Teacher. Tutoring is my way to continue to prepare students to be successful in their quest for a solid college preparation experience.
