Hello! I am a charismatic tutor that helps students achieve real results while having a good time. I have an English Literature degree and Master's in Educational Technology Leadership, so I do know what I am talking about most of the time.

I currently work as an instructional designer at Simmons College, where I work with faculty from all disciplines to organize and create instruction in a way that their specific student audience can ingest and internalize it effectively. I really do make a living of helping students understand learning content in simple, engaging, and lasting ways.

My approach to tutoring is to focus on a student's strengths and help apply them to the subjects they need tutoring on. Each student is different, so help them to create a personalized learning plan that breaks down their tasks in to small, digestible chunks they can work on one at a time.

Whether your child or teen needs help getting organized and focused on a number if subjects, or you need an extra boost with a writing assignment, I'm your guy.

Looking forward to working with you!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Adobe InDesign

For five years, I worked at an in-house create department for a large home products company. We used InDesign daily - to create flyers, catalogs, and other printed content. I have also used it in my personal creative work.

With my degree in educational technology leadership, I can use the knowledge I have in this area to tailor it to a student's specific needs and learning style. At my current job, I already conduct a lot of training on multimedia software.

Video Production

I have done video production since I was a teenager (I am now 31) and won many rewards for my work as a younger man. My specialties are storyboarding, writing, and editing.

I have worked professionally making training videos, instructional videos, and animations.

I am versatile in non-linear editing softwares (like Final Cut Pro), DVD authoring software (DVD Studio Pro), and motion graphics software (Apple Motion).
