Education is a tough job and sometimes student need one-on-one attention to excel. Unfortunately, many schools just aren't able to provide individualized education for every student. That's where a good tutor comes in! Tutors can help you or your child get passed a tough subject, pass that important test or provide ongoing, personalized education assistance.
I have successfully worked with students from preschool to graduate school and I am eager to help! I believe learning should be fun, engaging and personalized. I consider myself first and foremost a teacher of communication. Whether it's writing, grammar or public speaking, I believe the most valuable lesson we can learn is how to communicate our ideas. After all, what's the use of knowledge if we can't pass it on? I have taught communication skills from pre-literacy in preschools to public speaking in graduate school and everything in between. I work to help students to understand how to use language to effectively and efficiently turn an idea in to written word.
Some of my other areas of teaching include:
SAT Critical Reading
GRE Quantitative Reasoning
GRE Analytical Writing
Reading and writing skills
College application essays
Algebra I and II
College Application Essays
