It was during graduate school as a teaching assistant that I realized my passion for teaching. For the last few years I have been teaching physics (both algebra and calculus-based) as an adjunct professor at several different universities in Boston, in addition to providing private one-on-one tutoring. I have been enjoying every minute of it. I consider myself personable and down to earth, and I have always received positive feedback from my students.

Physics is often viewed as memorizing a myriad of distinct equations, but understanding where these equations come from, what they mean, and why we use them is ultimately the key to solving different problems. If you simply wish to do well in your physics class, I am here to address your specific needs and help you reach that goal.

My schedule is extremely flexible and I am willing to meet you wherever is most convenient, so please don't hesitate to contact me!

Physics

I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Physics and minor in Mathematics before attending graduate school at Brandeis University and Northeastern University, where I received a M.S. in Physics at each school. At each of these schools I was supported with a teaching assistantship, and for the last couple years since then I have been teaching physics and physical science courses as an adjunct faculty at several different colleges. Through all of this I have gained significant experience assisting students not only in a classroom environment, but also in a direct, one-on-one context. I have a keen understanding of many of the struggles students experience and am willing and patient in helping the student work through any issues in a non-stressful environment.
