I enjoy working with people, especially young people. I have eighteen years of classroom experience and over twenty-five years of coaching experience. Most of my classroom experience has been in Alternative Education, which means my students have all been challenged with mainstream classes for various reasons. I have learned to approach each lesson from the perspective of the student and his/her learning style.
Alternative Education has given me the opportunity to teach several subjects. I was not only able to pass the tests to qualify to tutor many subjects, but I also have experience teaching them.
As a coach, I have learned the value of being positive. It is easier to win both on the field and in the classroom when a student can find success and build on it.
