I am a native French speaker entirely educated in French until the end of my undergraduate degree. I completed all levels of French as a first language at the high school and graduate levels. I have also taught French as a second language at the Cordon Bleu culinary school in Camdridge, MA for a year. I have been tutoring French as a first and as a second language since 1997.
I have a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and am the author of a published series of music history exercise books for beginner to intermediate level music students. I have 11 years of experience teaching music history, theory and ear training to students ranging from beginner to college levels.
I have a DEC in Music, an undergraduate degree and a Master's degree in flute performance and and DMA in orchestral conducting for a total of 12 years of post-secondary studies in music including all corresponding levels of music theory. I have also been teaching music theory since 2001 at École de musique Vincent-d'Indy, École préparatoire Pierre-Laporte, École des jeunes de l'Université de Montréal in Montreal, Canada and then at Longy School of Music in Cambridge as well as in private lessons. I'm the author of a series of published music theory exercise books for students.
