My name is Ahmed. I am currently a junior level engineering student studying at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. I currently work as a tutor at a community college. I have been tutoring there for over three years now, and my focus includes Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and college algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1 and Calculus 2. I can also help students taking differential equations.
I am a very patient individual, who is willing to give back knowledge that I have obtained. I believe that patience is a very powerful weapon necessary to understand the principles behind math. I have met a lot of people who give up on themselves as well as math, just because of their lack of patience. With my patience and skills, I can definitely be of great help to those who have a math phobia. Please note that although I am the person who tutors students, I end up learning from them just as much as I give them myself. I was not always good at math; to be honest it was until my first year of college that I found this great desire for numbers. I have struggled with math just like the majority of people on this planet have; and this is exactly the reason why I can make a significant difference, due to the fact that I can relate to most students on a personal level.
