Good Morning,
I am a Senior Computer Systems Engineer / Computer Network Engineer who has more than 20 years’ of experience working with Fortune 500 companies deploying custom and "off the shelf" Lotus Notes Domino Web Solutions. I was on the original Lotus Notes Development Team in Cambridge Mass., as the Network Support Analyst for the Notes development team. I was responsible for making sure Lotus Notes ran on the different Operating Systems (OS) and Network Operating systems (NOS). So I have worked both the Server Admin/ Architect and Development Coding projects. I worked closely with Ray Ozzie, Tim Halvorson, Len Kawell and Steve Beckhart and the guys from IRIS Associates who wrote the Lotus Notes Program Source Code, I have an in depth knowledge of the API’s and the inner workings that makeup Lotus Notes Domino. I’ve also done lots of "Break - Fix" assignments helping CEO's, VP’s and Managers get their web applications and servers working properly after past problems, then fine tune their servers and software for optimum performance.
My client companies include Price Waterhouse Coopers, EDS, GM, Ford, IBM and the Federal Government to name a few, while at Lotus Development Corp. I delivered everything from large-scale server deployments to developing custom and "off the shelf" Domino client and web-based database applications with companies like Westinghouse Nuclear Division, Verizon, Gillette, LYCOS, Duracell, PG&E, Mass General Hospital, JP Morgan Chase Bank on Wall Street New York, IBM, Lotus Development Corp, United Airlines etc. as a Sr. Lotus Notes Engineer./ Architect, I’m at home in either the applications development, Network Systems Administration or web development environments. Designing and implementing these complex server and application environments for corporate management, they returned huge ROI (Return on Investment) rewards that streamline the business process while boosting productivity for the enterprise as a whole. I was even invited back to Lotus Development Corp in 2000, to support the Lotus / IBM merger working within both HR- IT departments to merge the two complex HR and Website systems into one.
Currently I’m seeking a computer teaching position where I could bring my 20+ years of valuable Computer Systems Engineering and Network Server Systems experience, along with Web Development Engineering experience to younger students in a computer science program.
Thank you for your time,
William L.
Sr. Computer Systems Engineer/ Architect
