I have thirty-five years of classroom experience at the elementary level. I believe children who are frustrated by school can improve their chances to succeed with one-on-one instruction. I use my knowledge in multiple intelligence theory and learning styles to make an initial assessment of the child's academic levels and then design an individual program to address the needs. My lessons are planned using a variety of materials and strategies to meet the abilities, achievement levels, and interests of the child. My service strives to improve skills, augment progress, clarify confusions, and stretch and explore.
