I graduated from high school in 2008 in the top 1% of my class with 7 AP college class credits, including AP Calc AB and BC, AP Psychology, AP English, AP U.S. History, and AP Statistics. I then went to WPI for 2 years before transferring to UMass Amherst for a year and a half where I graduated with a degree in Applied Math and a GPA over 3.5. I tutored a few friends of mine in high school in various math classes and helped friends of mine in college with multivariable calculus and some trigonometry. I also worked at a local boys and girls club for a few years and spent some time helping younger children with their homework, as well as time last year spent substitute teaching in Lowell. I am available seven days a week to offer my tutoring services for nearly any subject up through high school, as well as college level math classes (calculus, linear algebra, statistics, etc.)

Precalculus

Took numerous math classes starting with precalculus all the way up through algebra and calculus and advanced algebra in college. Also tutored friends in a variety of math classes in high school and college.

Trigonometry

Took trigonometry as a sophomore in high school and received an A in the class; also helped classmates and friends in the class.

SAT Math

Graduated with a degree in Applied Math in January of 2012, and have knowledge of many mathematical disciplines including algebra, geometry, calculus, etc. While in high school, I took the SATs twice and got a 780 on the Math portion both times.

SAT Reading

Took the SATs as a junior in 2007 and scored a 720 on the Reading section and a 2170 overall.

Probability

Took and received A's in Probability and Combinatorics classes in college, and graduated in January of 2012 with a degree in Applied Math.

Discrete Math

I took Discrete Math as a sophomore in college 3 years ago and got an A in the class. I also helped my classmate across the hall who rarely went to class on the homework when he struggled with it. I've also taken many advanced math classes such as Analysis and Computer Science classes that deal with similar course material.

Differential Equations

I graduated from college in January of 2012 with a degree in Applied Mathematics. Over the course of my 3.5 years in college, I took differential equations, advanced differential equations, and partial differential equations and got A's or B's in all of them. I also helped a friend of mine who had to take differential equations on his homework whenever he needed it.

Linear Algebra

While in college getting my degree in Applied Math, I had to take both Linear Algebra 1 and Advanced Linear Algebra for Applied Mathematicians and received A's in both of them. Linear algebra was probably my strongest subject while at college and I feel very strongly about being able to help others with the material.
