Hi, my name is Sokhomal, currently residing in Lowell, Ma. My favorite subjects in school were math and science. I attended a number of colleges, including Harvard evening school and Boston university, and graduated from Boston university with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
I'm new to tutoring job. But tutoring work was not new to me. I helped tutoring friends while in college. Once in a while, at present, I tutored a Freshman college student.
Growing up as a child in Cambodia, I learned that math is something that every parent would want to see their children excel in. In primary school, despite good role math models from my older siblings and cousins, I found myself struggling with math. I feared math the most as a child, frustrated, and often found myself embarrassed during math
classes and activities. Fortunately, something happened around the end of primary school. I overcame those feelings and found a way to excel in math. This way is what I would like to share with others. I believe any person of God-given base of ability to learn can bring out his/her own talent in math. Human brain, especially young one, is very powerful. You can work it hard enough to the point of excellence.
