In high school I was a terrible student. My grades included as much of the alphabet as is used for this purpose. Somehow I got into college, my grades were much better there. After a couple of false starts I began work at a company that I spent thirty four years. I spent a few years a computer operator. The remainder of my career I was a successful programmer, programmer/analyst, systems analyst, and senior systems analyst.
I think I can understand the difficulties that a student needs help more than most. I also know that there are ways to overcome these problems, and find success.
After our business unit was sold I eventually finished up at my old job.
Naturally I have been conducting a job search. Trying to find an appropriate use for my experience.
I have also been doing some on-line courses.
I think that tutoring could be an appropriate use of my experience, and will be a good match with my own interest in learning.
