I am a native Spanish speaker, originally from Madrid, Spain. I enjoy teaching both the Spanish language as well as the customs, traditions and differences between Spanish-speaking countries, as I have spent a substantial amount of time living and traveling in Latin America. I have a Bachelor's of Law degree from the UCM in Madrid, Spain and a Postgraduate degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language from the University of Barcelona in Spain. I currently work for Pittsfield Public Schools and hold a Massachusetts certification in Spanish.
I have experience tutoring people with all previous levels of Spanish knowledge, having worked for International House in Madrid, Spain, teaching both one-on-one (executives, diplomats) and groups and also teaching Spanish to immigrants with no previous knowledge of the language. I can help you with your homework and to get better grades at elementary, secondary or college level, prepare you for official exams such as DELE or improve your Spanish for business and travel.
