Hello, my name is Elbert but everyone just calls me Buddy.

I recently graduated from UMass Amherst with a BS in Mathematics (concentration in Statistics) and a minor in economics. I am currently studying to take the P/1 (probability) and FM/2 (financial mathematics) actuary exams. For my degree I had to take many math classes, some of them being: Calc 1, Calc 2, Multivariate Calc, Linear Algebra, Diff Equations, Complex Variables, Advanced Calc, Applied Math, Stats 1, and Stats 2.

I have helped family and friends overcome many math related issues (both school and real life). I've also helped my father with his accounting business during tax season when he needs the extra hand. I'm a very friendly and laid back person who is eager and willing to help others succeed.

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
