When I asked my teenage daughter how she would describe Eva as a tutor, she immediately said, "Focused, serious, and knowledgeable." This is high praise coming from someone who very reluctantly agreed to try out working with a tutor. After looking at many resumes and qualifications, I decided on Eva because of her credentials, one good reference from a satisfied parent, and the convenience of the tutoring location (they meet at a public library). I also thought she would be a good match to my daughter because she sounded like a no-nonsense person when we first corresponded. Happy to say things are working out. My daughter, who cherishes and protects her independence when it comes to school work, credits her better grades and increased confidence in Calculus to her work with Eva. She has been working with Eva since September, 2012. Thank you, Eva!
