I have been playing basketball since the day I could pick up the ball. In high school my team reached the state finals my senior season. I went on to play college basketball at Drew University. Post graduation, I have played semi-professionally in the US. In 2011 I traveled to Thailand, Laos, and India where I practiced with local teams and used my love of basketball as common ground to connect with native players. As recently as 2012, I was recruited to try out for professional teams in Germany. I continue to play in some of the top basketball leagues in the Boston area.
Currently, I am the assistant men's basketball coach at a college (NCAA Division 3) just outside of Boston. This is my first season coaching college basketball, but I have over 10 years of experience coaching basketball at the middle school and high school level. I am also the director of a successful summer basketball camp for youths. My experience as director allowed me to develop a fun based curriculum designed to improve the basketball skills of a player over a short period of time. I specialize in individual basketball training for basketball players of all experience levels and player types.
All training sessions will be designed based on the needs of the individual, but most clients can expect to see the following in their session:
-shooting warm up with emphasis on perfect form
-physical exercises for basketball conditioning, footwork, and defensive technique
-dynamic ball handling drills that are fun and focus on hand eye coordination
-variety of shooting/scoring drills, games, and competitions.
I am also available for physical training sessions.
Look forward to hearing from you,
