I graduated in 2011 from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University with a 3.8 GPA, a BFA in Fine Arts and a minor in Art History. I worked mostly in painting and printmaking, but have experience in many other mediums as well. I am also an excellent tutor in many other areas of learning.
I have worked as the Art Specialist at the Brookline Recreation Department for 7 to 9-year-olds participating in Camp Gator, and for 10-13 year olds at Camp Express. I help them to grow as artists while learning new techniques and ways of thinking about art. Many of these children also had special needs, including social and learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. I have also previously aided in teaching art classes with high school aged children at the Art Institute of Boston’s Young Artist Residency Program. I currently work at the Boston Higashi School as the middle school art teacher, helping children with autism learn more about creating artwork.
If you're interested, please let me know if your house is T-accessible, the age range of the students, and that necessary art supplies would be provided. Thanks!
