I have been teaching Microsoft Word for over 16 years to learners at all levels of experience, from beginners to advanced students. If you'd like to learn how to format a letter or set up a Mail Merge or anything in between, I'll be glad to show you how!

Microsoft PowerPoint

PowerPoint can be a lot of fun! I'll show you how to create a basic presentation with bullet points and ClipArt. You can also learn how to use Custom Animation and set up templates to use over and over again. I'm a PowerPoint expert, and I'll be glad to help you learn the skills you need to put together effective presentations.

Proofreading

Proofreading requires not only perfecting grammar, punctuation, and usage, but also improving readability. I'll help you learn grammar and punctuation, and I'll do my best to make it interesting. Once you master the basics, you'll be able to focus on what you want to write instead of worrying about the commas.

General Computer

I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and a Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor, and I've taught every level from beginners to advanced users. I am very patient, and I work to create a fun environment for learning how to use the computer and its programs!

HTML

When I worked for a training company, I taught HTML classes, and I now use it every day in my work. It's fun to write the HTML (hypertext markup language) code and then view the page to see what you've created. HTML is used to format text (bolding, font color, etc.) and paragraphs (centered, bulleted/numbered lists, etc.), and it can be used to create tables. Microsoft Publisher

I have been using and teaching Microsoft Publisher (versions 2003, 2007, and 2010) in a corporate setting for over seven years. I can teach students to create posters, fliers, newsletters, tri- and quad-fold brochures. And I can help them use the Master Page; insert pictures, ClipArt, tables, and charts; and manage the layout of a publication. I enjoy working with Publisher, and I enjoy teaching other people to make use of all of its features.

How do I receive a discount?

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire.
