Hello aspiring scholar!
I have been a middle school and high school teacher for five years now, and while I want to make sure you learn as much as you can, I try to make it fun, too. Obviously if you see no reason to be interested, learning the material will be much harder, so I always work to help you see the connection to your life and your goals.
But that doesn't mean it's all fun and games. I have a master's degree in history, and I've been known to have the meanest correcting pen in town. It's all about putting forth your best, whether that's a project, a paper, or a test. In school as in life, details matter, and my goal is not just to point out what details are amiss, but to teach you how to catch mistakes for yourself without my help.
