A Boston native, Tim studied with some of Boston's finest musicians such as Whit Browne, John Lockwood, Dave Clark, John Repucci, Anthony Vitti, Danny Morris, and Jeff Covell, just to name a few. Tim is well versed in a variety of styles including jazz, classical, funk, blues, pop, and rock music. Tim is an active performer and teacher in the Boston Area. He has played with the Merrimack Valley Philharmonic Orchestra, participated in various musicals as an orchestra member, has performed at several rock clubs such as The Lucky Dogs, and gigs with various jazz groups.

Ear Training

I have taken all of the Ear Training 1-4 courses at Berklee College of Music. In addition, I have studied advanced ear training techniques that have been passed on from great piano professors at different music colleges. I also have been studying ear training every day on my own for many years. I wish to pass on these techniques and spread my passion for ear training.

Guitar

Guitar is my first instrument which I started playing 16 years ago. I have been teaching and playing guitar professionally since I graduated in from Berklee in 2006.

Music History

I have taken all of the Music History courses at Berklee College of Music. In addition, I have studied many other aspects of music history as part of Master of Music program at the Longy School of Music of Bard College. I have been studying music history for many years, and also studied lots of jazz history too.

Piano

My piano experience includes 9 years of study and 5 years of teaching experience.

I have studied the piano for 7 years with the piano professor at Berklee College of Music Jeff Covell. I have played many gigs on the piano in different styles from classical, to jazz, to contemporary.
