I attended Boston University Academy, and graduated from Boston University with a journalism degree in just three years. I have worked in the US, the UK, and spent a year writing for an educational children's television program in Australia.

SAT Reading

To increase a student's SAT Reading score, I work on building the student's active reading skills. By asking particular questions as we work through reading passages, I prepare my student to answer the questions before they even see them, by identifying the theme, tone, and other important aspects of the passage. SAT Writing

I increase students' SAT Writing scores by focusing on frequently-asked grammar questions, as well as test-taking strategies. To build confidence on the essay section, I cover strategies for coming up with solid examples, the key to a great essay.

With a combination of test-taking strategies, vocabulary review, and grammar instruction, I have helped all my students significantly improve their SAT Writing scores.
