I'm a student at Berklee College of Music passionate about helping others discover a similar love of music!
I'm trained in voice, piano, guitar, and trumpet (and other brass instruments); I also have a heavy background in classical and contemporary music theory.
I can help students of ANY age and skill level to develop playing, reading, improvisation, and ear training techniques. I have experience in all different styles. If you have any question as to what else I can help with feel free to ask!

I have had considerable success in the local music scene with a group that I started in high school. I have gained experience in songwriting, booking, online PR, social media, studio recording, and quite a bit more. I'm Music Business major, so I have considerable knowledge about the industry, publishing, recording and production techniques, and career opportunities for musicians. Any advice in that regard I would be happy to include in conjunction with any and all types of music lessons or tutoring.

I set my rate here at $45 an hour. School is expensive and my rent is considerable, but I have a strong desire to help others get inspired by the power of music! Playing, writing, and understanding music is an activity that can be enjoyed for the entirety of your life, a very worthwhile investment. I can be flexible with my pricing if you have financial constraints. On the contrary, if you can afford to pay me more than my minimum, that would surely be appreciated!

Ear Training

I have finished all four levels of required ear training at Berklee College of Music. My first ear training was early in high school, so I have upwards of eight years of experience.

General Music

I am a student at Berklee College of Music. I started piano at age 6, trumpet at age 10, singing professionally at age 14, and guitar at age 17. I have been trained in sight reading, sight singing, and ear training. I have been writing original music for over five years, and I have achieved quite a bit locally. I also have experience recording, mixing, and mastering in a studio setting.


I am a student at Berklee College of Music. I am a multi-instrumentalist and I started playing guitar at age 16. I can teach proper fingering techniques, scales, chords, and inversions. I can teach students to read the music, chord symbols, or tablature of their favorite songs

Music Theory

I have finished all four levels of required harmony at Berklee College of Music. My first harmony training was early in high school, so I have upwards of eight years of experience. I took the AP Music Theory exam my junior year and scored a 5, and then served as a tutor for students who took the exam in later years.


I am a student at Berklee College of Music. I started Piano at age 6. I have been trained both to read (chords and sheet music) and play by ear. I have an extensive knowledge of both classical and jazz harmony, and can play and teach fluently in the jazz and classical styles. I can also teach proper fingering technique, instill effective practicing habits, and help my students develop reading skills, recognize dynamics, tempo changes, key changes/accidentals, and will incorporate ear training, sight singing, and music theory into my lessons. I can work with students of any skill level.

Sight Singing

I have been trained in sight singing since high school as part of the AP Music Theory exam, and during the four basic levels of ear training at Berklee. I have over eight years of practice and experience, and I have been a music teacher and tutor for over five years. I am a student at Berklee College of Music.


I am the lead singer, trumpet player, and primary songwriter for the Boston based Risky Business Band. We have been writing original music for over five years, have achieved quite a bit of local success, radio play, and buzz. I have also gained experience recording, mixing, and mastering in a studio setting from my time with this band. The primary elements in a song are the chord progression, the melody, the song form, the 'hook' or 'chorus', and the lyrics. Over the years I have found what works and what does not work in the writing and arranging of a song. I can help my students develop prosody (the relationship between the mood of the chord progression and the tone of the lyrics), develop ideas into clear-cut themes, and incorporate an element of surprise into their work to differentiate their songs from others. These are three essential qualities of well crafted, meaningful hit songs.


I am a student at Berklee College of Music. I started playing the trumpet at age 10. I have been professionally trained to read classical and jazz music with proper articulation, tone, and dynamics. A proper embouchure and steady breath support are key in producing a clean tone on brass instruments, and so the student will be properly coached in warming up, consistently and effectively practicing, and using the correct technique before the instruction will begin with the horn. I have amassed a library of trumpet solos, duets, and technique books, and I can provide my students with challenging, yet ability-appropriate material. I can also sightread quite well, and so working on their own material is also very doable.

Voice (Music)

I am a voice principal at Berklee College of Music (meaning my principal instrument is voice, and I sing in all of my performance related coursework). I began singing professionally at age 14 and I have been trained to read music for most of my life. I am also proficient at sight reading and sight singing, and I feel comfortable helping others to develop these skills. I can perform (and read the music for) a variety of styles, including rock, classical, and jazz. My first instrument was piano, so I am able to effectively accompany my students during instruction. I have an extensive library of choral music and solo pieces, so I can supply students with material as well as assist them with their own. I can also properly teach proper technique, diction, breath support, and provide warm up exercises to ensure improvement and vocal health.
