Hola! I have been an educator for 20 years with a Masters' Degree in Teaching Spanish. I have two Massachusetts certifications: Spanish PreK-6 and Spanish 5-12. I currently teach Spanish to grades 1-5, and have also taught Middle School Spanish. I have a love for the Spanish language and believe that exposure to a second language opens doors and increases brain power. I am as comfortable singing songs and playing games to teach Spanish as I am working out of a textbook with an older student to improve a Spanish grade. I work with your student to increase his/her potential in Spanish and tailor the program to meet the unique needs of the individual.

Spanish

Learn Spanish through active hands on games, music and stories to enhance the learning experience. My goal is to have the students communicating in Spanish as much as possible and as son as possible. I am also skilled at the secondary level and enjoy working with students to imporve their Spanish grade at the middle or high school level.

Writing

I am a MA certified Spanish teacher k-12 with 20 years of classroom experience. Though my certification is Spanish I have multiple teaching skills. I have also taught all subjects in a self contained classroom. I have a Master's Degree in Education and am an avid reader/writer with much practice writing college essays. I have experience tutoring children of all ages. I design lessons which cater to the individual student's needs and consider myself to be an enthusiastic and skilled educator!

Study Skills

I have a Masters Degree in Education with a total of 7 years of secondary education. I currently teach in an elementary school setting where much of my focus is on helping students stay organized and complete work.
