I have a passion for math and truly enjoy teaching it! I have 10+ years tutoring experience in tutoring adults and children in Pre Algebra, Algebra I and II, Precalculus, Statistics, College Math, Vocational Math, Geometry, ACT, and SAT Math. We meet at a variety of settings including colleges, libraries, coffee shops at well as in their homes; wherever the student feels most comfortable. High school students, college students and adults getting their GED or returning to school to get their degrees are among my specialties. I also have experience with homeschooled children and young adults at all levels of learning and have special group rates available upon request. Students and adults with ADHD, mental illness and other types of learning disabilities are welcome as well.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I am an Algebra 1 tutor for grade and high school students as well as adults returning to school or work.

I have 10+ years experience in tutoring in math related subjects with students of all age groups and skill levels.

Elementary Math

I am currently teaching two homeschooled teenagers (14 and 16)in Elementary Math. I meet with them on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 2 hours each day instructing them in math concepts such as fractions, percents, adding and subtracting, multiplying and dividing, absolute values, etc. I will also be covering material up to Algebra II and Pre-Calculus
