My name is Nathalie M. I graduated in Biology at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. I am originally from The Democratic Republic of Congo.
I arrived from Congo to the United States in 2002, Texas specifically. My father had always advised me to pursue my education in Massachusetts, where some of the best science programs in the country can be found. After attending North Lake Community College I transferred to North Shore Community College in Massachusetts, where I took classes help me better understand the subjects that would help me reach my educational goals.
In 2006, I started attending the University of Massachusetts Boston. As the Republic Democratic of Congo was colonized by Belguim, I am fluent in French. I attended a French speaking private school in Congo, I was also raised in French by my parents. I did spent some time as well in France and Belguim, which are two French speaking countries.
I am working as a research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital. I work with patients with brain tumors. We are studying the effects of new drugs therapy while monitoring patients.
