A current graduate student at Lesley University, I am changing careers after more than twenty years in the corporate world. My experience working with adolescents comes from years of working as a theater director (in and out of schools) and being a diversity trainer for both SpeakOUT Boston and PFLAG. By the way, if you are or are responsible for a student that is an unmotivated or difficult to manage, I can handle that - because I was that student. My life experience has taught me the reasons why students often have trouble and how to find individual solutions for them. Books, writing and theater helped me find my way from class clown to trainer and now teacher. The prospect of introducing a student to the power resulting from writing, reading and the expansion of his or her imagination, is exciting to me.
