I have many years experience teaching junior high and high school students of public and private schools. My education includes a Masters Degree in French and study in Dijon, France, and Madrid, Spain. For several years, I have been a successful and popular tutor of languages with students covering a range of abilities, from introductory to advanced levels. I can provide SAT Subject Test Preparation for students of French and Spanish seeking to improve test performance for admittance to schools including top universities. Additionally, I have several years experience teaching the reading and writing sections of the SAT including essay development and test strategies. Those students who are willing to work hard generally see very favorable results and develop the confidence they need to approach the SAT and other exams and challenges.
I enjoy working with students and hope to share my enthusiasm for the subject matter with them. I believe that we as teachers and tutors can reach most students and have the best opportunities to do that in one-on-one sessions. When students grasp an understanding of a concept, a fact or an idea, it is gratifying and satisfying both to the student and the teacher. That's what I seek to achieve.
