I graduated from East Providence High School in 1981 and from New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, Boston, in 1984. I earned a BSN from UMass-Amherst in 1993 and an MS from UMass-Amherst in 1996. I became an ANCC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner 1996.
I worked 25 years as an RN/NP. Throughout my career I have educated all levels of health care providers: paramedics, new employees, employees, and nursing students AD/BSN/MSN.
Academic achievement is not always a predictor of who will excel in hands-on nursing. I view my successes on the fact that I have found a profession that I truly love. And you? I'd love the opportunity to help you achieve academically so you can become the best nurse you can be.
How do I do what I do? It is rare that I do the same thing twice and will do whatever it is to help us figure out a way that helps you achieve your goals. Many colleges have tutoring services but there are times when that just isn't enough.
Often I help people prepare for the NCLEX exam but often many use my services in retaking the NCLEX exam for the second or third time. Sounds scary ? It isn't or doesn't have to be scary.
Try me! You will be glad you did... keep smiling.
