Hi! I am a certified teacher in grades 1-6. I have taught both first and second grades for the last 10 years in the Marblehead Public Schools. I have also tutored students in multiple capacities for just as many years. Currently, I am on maternity leave from my teaching and would enjoy tutoring part time either individually or small groups. I love to see a student's confidence flourish while helping them build the skills to be successful in school. I approach tutoring the same way I approach teaching a class...every student can be successful when given the opportunity to learn at their pace and with multiple approaches to the same skill. Reading

I have taught both first and send grades for the last ten years. The biggest part of teaching first grade is reading. By having a comprehensive program for both fluency and comprehension you can have a well rounded reader. It also allows you to pinpoint trouble areas for students so you can make sure they have the proper skills to be successful as readers.

Elementary (K-6th)

I am a certified elementary school teacher grades 1-6 in Massachusetts. I also hold a CAGS (Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies) in Administration from Salem State University.

Phonics

I have taught both first and second grades for the last ten years, which includes teaching children how to read with a balanced literacy program. I am proficient in guided reading as well as Wilson Foundations training which is specifically teaching phonics and how words work.

How do I receive a discount?

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
