Choosing me to be your or your child's tutor should be one of the easier decisions you will have to make. I love teaching and explaining and won’t give up on my students until they "get it". I am certified in Math, Science, English, and Social Studies for students through 8th grade. I'm also certified in Health and Music for students in all grades. This diversity of content knowledge enables me to make connections between the subjects your student understands easily and those with which he or he she struggles.

I have an excellent attitude towards teaching and am very solution oriented. I will identify a problem quickly and spend the majority of time working on finding ways to solve the problem. I understand how frustrating not "getting" a concept can be and I will work hard to relieve academic anxiety by teaching real world tips and strategies. I understand that not every student learns the same way and will evaluate the way your child learns and tailor lessons to best suit his or her needs.

I hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music with a concentration in Voice Performance. I was a student of voice at Tanglewood for two summers and studied with premier teachers at Boston University. Pharmacology

With over twelve years in pharmaceutical sales, I can assist students in understanding how drugs are metabolized by the body, how they interact, and how to evaluate adverse events/side effects.

Nutrition

I have over twelve years of experience selling pharmaceuticals, with the majority of that time selling in diabetes and cardiology. Nutrition was a major focus in learning about and selling my products. I can help students learn how to read nutrition labels, how to plan good eating, and how to make good choices.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
