I am an enthusiastic individual who enjoys learning and sharing that learning with people of all ages. I have been an active member of Jumpstart Americorp working with inner city pre-school children in Pittsburgh, and an avid volunteer at the Center for Creative Play in the same city when it still existed. I have also student taught biology and chemistry related classes at the undergraduate level, taught a freshman calculus class and taken a variety of other classes in the sciences and mathematics. I am experienced at working with Computers including the Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Publisher) and love using technology to efficiently advance learning. I am willing to do lessons in person and am looking forward to trying to teach through Skype as the opportunity presents itself.
I enjoy making connections between things and am currently a Graduate Student in Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth studying protein assembly for Biomaterial Developement. Please give me the opportunity to help you learn more about some of these subjects and how they relate to the real world!
