Welcome to my WyzAnt profile, and thank you for your interest! I would like to provide a brief overview of my academic credentials, my experience tutoring and teaching, and my overall approach as a tutor.
I recently graduated from Keele University in the U.K. with my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, where my research focused on thermo-acoustic instabilities. My research was supported with the Marie Curie fellowship from the European Commission, the premier research fellowship in Europe. I graduated cum laude from Boston University in 2008 with my B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, respectively.
Though I'm new to WyzAnt, I have been teaching and tutoring for over 5 years. My specialty is one-on-one subject tutoring, but I have also worked with small and medium groups ranging from 2-20 students. I have experience working with students from tenth grade to college students of all majors, to working professionals who have decided to return to school for their degree. My favorite subjects to tutor are mechanical engineering topics, especially fluid dynamics, and mathematics. If you're in doubt as to whether I teach a certain subject, just ask!
I only ask that the first tutoring session be 1.5 hours so time can be taken to understand your individual requirements.
