I recently graduated from Harvard with my A.B. in Physics, and I am available immediately for in-home tutoring of students at all levels and of all backgrounds. I am particularly well-prepared to:
-Help high school students struggling in math, physics, or English courses
-Help students study math, reading, and writing for the SAT I
-Teach advanced math, physics, and English for the SAT II and AP tests
-Advise on college admissions and review applications/essays
I know how difficult high school today can be, and I know what it takes to emerge successfully. In my senior year, I was admitted to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, MIT, and Columbia after graduating at the top of my class and scoring in the 99th percentile on the following exams:
SAT I Math (perfect 800)
SAT I Reading (perfect 800)
SAT I Writing
SAT II Math (perfect 800)
SAT II Physics
SAT II Spanish
AP Calculus BC
AP Calculus AB
AP Statistics
AP Chemistry
AP Biology
AP English Language
AP English Literature
AP Spanish Language
AP U.S. History
I am also an accomplished musician -- I recently earned my M.M. with highest honors from the New England Conservatory after having pursued advanced studies at The Juilliard School, and I have performed as a concert cellist and orchestral conductor across the United States.
Additional note:
As a creative-minded individual who has achieved success in the quantitative sciences, a particular passion of mine is helping struggling students fulfill their potential in mathematics. With the proper guidance and a confidence instilled by mastery, I believe that all students can perform well in their math classes and on the SAT, and I work tirelessly to draw out the best in every individual I teach!
