I have always loved teaching students from elementary to college levels. I've tutored science and math throughout high school and college. I've also edited college essays and provided general writing and editing services.
I am currently working as a teaching fellow at Harvard Extension School in Biology and tutoring high school AP Calculus. Most recently, I taught at MATCH Community Day School in Boston focusing on literacy and math skills with English Language Learners. I've also had extensive classroom experience directing and teaching an afterschool program for elementary school students, focusing on literacy, grammar, reading comprehension, and math.
My greatest strength is tailoring my teaching style to the specific needs of the student and developing study habits to encourage academic independence.
