In addition to teaching high school Spanish at a charter school north of Boston for two years, I have been a Spanish tutor since college. I started taking Spanish when I was in 7th grade and became enamored of not only the Spanish language, but also the history, art, culture, and literature of both Spain and Latin America. I majored in Spanish and International Relations at Salisbury University, where I was a member of Sigma Delta Pi (National Hispanic Studies Honor Society) and studied abroad in Chile. I have tutored all levels of Spanish from beginners through advanced students and love helping students reach that "a-ha!" moment when they realize that they are capable of learning a particular concept.
