I have a PhD in Neurobiology from Yale and is well-versed in Math and Science. In addition to tutoring for classes, I can help students improve their SAT scores; I can consistently get above 700 verbal, and 730 math

My approach to tutoring is to employ patience and versatility in explaining strategy and concepts to allow for students to find answers that make sense to them.

I thoroughly enjoy working with students better understand math and science so that when it comes to tests, they can actually apply what they studied and learn instead of simply reciting formulas and equations they memorized but have no understanding of. This will improve performance and grades.

I prefer to work with Junior High and High School students and would be more than happy to share my educational experience if my students have questions about applying to universities, etc. I encourage students to be self-sufficient and expect that they try because I am not just going to do their homework.

I am approachable and have a good sense of humor, which enables to me form a strong rapport with my students and am always more than happy to talk about university and graduate school if they have any questions.
