Currently I am in my fourth year perusing PhD degree in biochemistry at the University of Connecticut. I have been a teaching assistant in chemistry for 7 semesters(in general chemistry and analytical chemistry). At the same time I have been tutoring students from high school and college in different areas, such as general chemistry, math(up to calculus 2), general physics, biology and biochemistry.
My tutoring style is passionate, fun and informal but disciplined. I expect the students to come prepared and attempt their best to study the subject. When tutoring subjects like math and chemistry, I attempt to explore various, sometimes more advanced techniques and try to relate the subjects to everyday life examples, hence making it easier for the students to comprehend and grasp the subject. I am patient and an understanding tutor and together with the student we will explore various techniques until we find the ones that work best.
