I began tutoring as a student tutor at Boston Latin's Saturday Success school, and have been doing it ever since.
I was in the UK from 2009-2013 (just moved back!) while completing my doctorate at Oxford University. During that time have seen my students win places at Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College, Harvard and Stanford. I am now back in Boston to take up a post-doctoral research fellowship and an adjunct professorship within the Biomedical engineering department of Boston University.
Many moons ago when I took my SATs I received a 1600 (out of 1600 as it was those years ago).
I love to teach and believe that any child can learn math and science with the right person. I do not take on very many students at a time as I like to offer my students personalized attention over the long term. I think it's best when a student becomes comfortable with their tutor and trusts that they are in good hands. If you would like any references please don't be afraid to ask!
